MAINTAIN YOUR ITEM'S QUALITY & DURABILITY
We offer functional investment pieces that last for generations in both quality and style. Therefore, we only work with the finest quality natural stone and ensure all our pieces are treated with a stain resistant finish. Having said that, a little care will ensure the longevity of your piece. That's why we’ve created a comprehensive material & care guide.
FINISH
OUR UNIQUE STAIN RESISTANT TECHNIQUE
To respect the authenticity of the stone, all our tables are treated with a unique soft touch technique that provides the optimal compromise between natural finish and functionality. This technique has been developed by our supplier lending the surface a matte and pleasant feel. By applying this technique to the surface of every piece, we ensure a durable product that can withstand everyday use. We strive to retain the beauty of natural stone, but also offer a carefree solution with low maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
GIVE YOUR PIECE THE LOVE IT DESERVES
The protective surface on our tables reduces the risk of mis-colouration from spillages. Yet, we recommend that you always wipe off any spill as soon as possible using a non-abrasive, soft cloth with mild PH-neutral soapy water. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar, lemon juice and some types of cleaning solutions as natural stone is sensitive to acidic substances. Liquids such as coffee and tea should also never be left to dry as they will damage the surface. We recommend using a specialist natural stone soap to treat difficult stains. Dilute the cleaner in water and apply it to the marble using a soft cloth or sponge.
NATURAL (IM)PERFECTIONS
We take pride in ensuring the highest quality & craftsmanship in every piece. Due to the nature of natural stone, each piece may vary slightly in colour, pattern or veins. That’s the charm. Formed by nature over millions of years, each piece carries the marks of its journey, flaunting natural imperfections for all to see.
CONDITIONS
KEEP YOUR BEAUTY INSIDE
Our tables are not suitable for outdoor use, the stones react to changes in the ambient temperature. In addition, it is possible that rain penetrates the pores of the marble and heat or cold cause the natural stone to expand or contract. This will possibly cause cracks and breaks in the stone. To preserve the longevity of the tables and ensure their optimal condition, it is advisable to keep them indoors or in covered outdoor spaces where they are shielded from direct exposure to the elements.
PROTECTION
AVOID EVERYDAY DAMAGE
Use trivets to protect from hot tableware or anything that may scratch or stain the surface. Also, be careful with hard objects and avoid abrasive cloths, sponges or wire pads that may scratch the surface during regular use or cleaning. Regularly dust and clean the marble to prevent dirt and grime from building up on the surface.
