WHERE DO THE PRODUCTS COME FROM?

We source and produce all our products locally in Belgium as our office is close to the Belgium-Netherlands border. This ensures they are ethically produced promoting fair labour and short transportation, while also saving on emissions.

DOES THE LEFTOVER STONE YOU USE AFFECT THE QUALITY?

By utilising leftover stones, we promote the principles of sustainability. Rather than discarding these materials as waste, we repurpose them reducing the demand for new resources. And don't fear - these aren't damaged goods. The leftovers come from large-scale projects such as offcuts from a kitchen countertop or a bathroom where they never use all of the stone from the bigger slabs. In other words, by choosing us you can contribute to a greener future without sacrificing on quality. What's not to love?

DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM WHERE I CAN VIEW THE COLLECTION?

Yes, you can view our tables in the beautiful showroom of Atelier Uma in Breda. Please contact us or Atelier Uma directly to make an appointment or for the details.

DO YOU MAKE CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS?

In addition to our permanent collection, we offer personal design consultations together with you. Allowing you to curate the perfect one-of-a-kind piece that fits your specific requirements and preferences. It’s also possible to pick a model from our permanent collection and have that produced in your unique stone of choice.

DO I HAVE WARRANTY WHEN I BUY THE PRODUCTS?

The warranty with regards to our product(s) only applies to Set in Stone if defects are caused by faulty manufacturing, construction or material. Please note we are not liable should any damages occur when handling your piece. Please take care and be mindful that natural stone is heavy and fragile. If handled with care, your piece will last for generations.

CAN I HIRE THE PIECES FOR AN EVENT OR SHOOT?

Hiring pieces will be available within The Netherlands and in Belgium for photoshoots, events or styling. Please contact us to find out the details and costs.

HOW TO I CARE FOR MY STONE PIECE?

All our pieces are treated with a stain resistant finish that results in a durable surface that can maintain everyday use. However, a little care will ensure the longevity of your piece. Read all in-depth information on our materials & care page.

CAN I HAVE MY PRODUCT DELIVERED ANY TIME?

After purchase we contact you by your given phone number to communicate the delivery date and time, which we will confirm via email.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME OF THE PRODUCTS?

We aim to deliver all products from the permanent collection within 1-2 weeks. Occasionally, this may vary due to external factors. We will inform you as soon as possible of the exact delivery time, after which our carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

THE PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS, WHAT DO I DO?

You have a 14 day reflection period in order to exchange or return your products at your own expense with our experienced pick-up service. Please contact our customer service to register a return or exchange your product(s). Mail to info@setinstone-studio.nl stating your first and last name and order number. We will calculate the costs (at your own expense) for one of our experienced pick-up services to collect your goods. Please do not arrange any transportation yourself as our products are fragile and heavy - they need experienced care while shipping.
